  1. Has anyone had problems converting avi's to svcd's using dvd2svcd?
Most of the time they work fine, but the odd file won't even load into dvd2svcd properly. i.e. when the avi has been selected, the "go" button is disabled, and the length of the avi doesn't appear in the "movie length" field.
I'm guessing this may be a codec problem, but as I'm relativly new to all this, I honestly don't have a clue whats wrong.

Any ideas would be greatly recieved.

  2. Re-do your AVI using TMPGenc. Then re-burn.

    Search Comp PM
open the source avi in gspot (in the tools section to the left). it will tell you what codes you need and whether you already have them.
