I want to backup Narc. Movie only.
When I use DVD shrink and cut off some of the credits the movie fits on one dvdr perfectly, no transcoding needed. I know dvd shrink does not remove the layer break and dvd2one does, but dvd2one does not trim the credits.
So I was wondering can I cut some credits with dvd shrink and then pass the movie again through dvd2one, will this remove the layer break?

Didn't know shrink leaves the layerbreak in there... does that mean when you're watching the thing, there will be a 1 second pause at that point? I have never experienced that.
If you need to save space, can you strip out some audio/sub data?http://encoding.n3.net <-- for all your DVD and CD backup needs! -
The "layer break" is an arbitrary term.
It's a physical shift from one layer to another, but once the data is all ripped to your hard disk, it's moot.
To say that DVD Shrink "doesn't take out the layer change" is like saying that Winzip "doesn't take out the floppy change" after you've concatenated all the disks of an old image. It's just silly.
