DVD2DVDR 16:9 encoding

hi,
i used dvd2dvdr to encode a movie (CCE convince me this time!!! wow what a quality of 3 passes) i give him 16:9 mode when he movie was 4:3.
after he done it looks like 16:9 but when i re-authored with ifoupdate (to keep the original menu) the movie is playing 4:3!! why?
i tried to change it with ifoedit giving him 16:9 but i dont know if im changing it in the right place...please need help!

I see under (in the IFO file) VMGM_MAT
video compression MPEG-2 in the authored IFO in the original i see it MPEG-1 !?

i have changed all the 4:3 to 16:9 in the ifo file but still i see 4:3!
any ide?

found it....what a stupid guy am I ha???!!

i even dident looked where i am changing...i changed the main menu each time..ahahaha......
