hopefully i am not doing anything illegal, but i have an apparant movie file. However it is in a weird extension *.rm (which is audio if i am correct) is there something that i can do to find out what type of extention that file really should be?

You need the Real Media player. It's kind of a monster and tries to take over your computer and play all your files and download customized content etc.

.rm is a correct extension...
it's a Real Media file.

im sorry guys for the attitude, been fucked around with the answer to this question all day. One last wuestion, is there a program that would enable me to take that file *.rm and covert it into something so that i can burn it onto a DVD or as an SVCD
