Ok this was my test disk, i put 2 movies svcd, with 10 min chapters, then i screwed up and put like 10 music vidz svcd, after that is one vts so the 2 movie's play with chapters 16 to be exact and work fine i screwed up and unchecked the music vidz so now there are no chapters after 16 but the music vidz are still there and work, the vcd are on another vts and they work fine ok now for the big ?

How do i dissasemble the dvd that i made and make a new dvd using svcd2dvdmpg+ with the videos i had on that dvd since, the program assembled those .vob files already, my goal is just to extract the vidz out of this dvd and just make a new compilation.. someone please help me on this one, i already erased those vidz so the only master i have is on this dvd

Off topic, if i do extract the vidz out, and there already dvd ready can svcd2dvdmpg+ still make me a compilation of these .vob files, cause i already have some .vob files but didn't get to experimenting on these file to make a compilation...

Don't get me wrong this program is awesome, just want to learn more about it =]

thanks in advance if someone can help

  2. Hey,

check in the guide section on how to strip vobs of your dvd and use a program like ifoedit to demux the vobs to .m2v and .mp2 or .ac3. Then use a tool like tmpgenc to mux the audio and video together again. Now you have mpg files you can run through svcd2dvdmpg+. You can skip the audio encoding part cause your audio is fine already.

But i you already have vcd-dvd and svcd-dvd on a dvd why do it again with svcd2dvdmpg+ you'll get the same result.

    Greatings,
