    Hi, I am just wondering what is the best program to use to rip the audio from a TV show that I captured to my HD? The current file is AVI format, and the video is Huffyuv with PCM audio. I want to be able to either keep the audio as PCM or convert it to either CBR MP3 or WAV format during the ripping process.

    I would like to be able to do this using VirtualDub, as I like that program a lot, and it would be nice to be able to do everything from one program, but I don't know of any way to save just the audio with V-Dub. The Video is not a problem, just the audio.

    TIA for helping

    Ejoc's CVD Page:
    DVDDecrypter -> DVD2AVI -> Vobsub -> AVISynth -> TMPGEnc -> VCDEasy

    DVD:
    DVDShrink -> RecordNow DX

    Capture:
    VirualDub -> AVISynth -> QuEnc -> ffmpeggui -> TMPGEnc DVD Author

  4. If you're doing a lot of this, I noticed TMPG does a much faster job of extracting wavs. I think I had a 3 minute avi that vdub took 41 seconds on and TMPG took 13 seconds to do. Just food for thought....
