DVD menus question!

i have a song i was to play on the dvd menu, but most of the software like mydvd, only plays like 15 seconds and then repeats if over and over without playing the full song, is it possible to have the full song play on the dvd menu? does it require a special dvd authoring software? currently i'm using showbiz, mydvd, tpmpg, tpmpg dvd authoring.

I use Sonic DVDit PE 2.5.

It does allow this capability. But known limits are no slideshows, no motion menues, and no DTS audio.

Regarding motion menu support - it is available in Ulead DVD Workshop.

Are you using a motion menu? You might try using DVDLab for authoring...It can create a motion menu, and use WAV, or AC3 as a background sound (I haven't tried with MP3s as a background yet, so don't know if that works or not...)

I had a particular sound clip (*.ac3), then made a short video using pieces of the full movie, the same length (in time) as the sound clip. Put them together as a main menu in DVDLab, and works very well...
