  1. I have a Shuttle PC, a P4, WinXP, Sony DRU-500 DVD Burner, NVIDIA TNT2 with TV-out (yah, it's old but does the job).

Anyway, it works just fine for playing back basically any DIVX or XVID movie I've got.

That is until now. I have got a copy of Dreamcatcher-XVID and it just wont play. It will just jump right out of Windows Media Player without as much as an error message (?). If I skip the starting 20 sec it will play, but the picture will be jerking quite a bit for the rest of the movie.

On my other computer it works just fine. No problems at all.

As far as I can see there are no differences in codecs or drivers...

    Any suggestions?

    Looking forward to your replays.

XVid is evil. It is written by the worst kind of people:

    1. Former pirates.
    2. Opensource losers.
    3. Dweebs who are so averse to the idea of personal responsibility that they have never actually compiled their own code for distribution.

AND, lots of Xvid files are broken versions of illegal films. That's what you have.
