  1. May seem like a stupid question, but I have been making SVCDs and DVDs for a while now and I want to start making chapters now!!
I have been using Sonic Video Factory to make my videos, which I do like to use!! the output looks great,,,
As well I use Sonic MyDVD to burn the DVD. I would like to make chapters within the video....
I don't see a way to do that within Video Factory or in MyDVD.... is there a software that I should to make those.... also, will MyDVD recongize the chapters.......any guidance would be appreaciated!!

  2. Get your MPEG file or M2V file, open TMPG. Go settins Advance and click frame, move slider along to where you want chapters. Write a chapter list out and save it in Note Pad and call it CellTimes. Open IFO Edit go to Author DvD, then add your Video, Sound and Celltimes, click OK and wait. Then burn DvD!
Keep going till you get it right!!!

  3. Hello !
My suggestion is to use an authoring program that supports chapter points
like DVD lab , DVDit, Studio8.

  4. TMPGEnc DVD Author offers you the choice of making chapters. Its a very easy program to use.

  6. As I understand it, for now, Sonic MyDVD only lets you create chapter points by hitting the space bar as you capture video through MyDVD.
In Ulead Movie Factory 2, you can bring in a video clip and click "Add/Edit Chapter", which is on the left just above "Create Menu". That's the way it is in the trial version I'm using. When you click that, it opens a window where you can search through your clip and click "Add" at each point you want to start a chapter. Also, you can search in your clip for a frame from that chapter you want to use as a thumbnail, then right click the thumbnail image and click "change thumbnail".
That's my little bit of input, if it helps.

    You need "TMPGEnc DVD Author"

It's a different program than TMPGEnc.
