    I have been having excellent results backing up movies with DVD Decryptor and Pinnacle InstantCopy but thought I would give DVD Shrink 2.3 and Nero 5.5.10.35 a go. The latter is certainly faster and looks good on my Sony Standalone. Some of the Verbatim DVD-Rs won't play on my modded PS2 (SCPH-39003 DVD PLAYER 2.13E), however, although all the Pinnacle copied ones play fine.

    Are there some setting adjustments to be made in Nero?

    Yeah it has to do with your UDF disk settings.
