I've recently run into a problem with TMPGEnc (ver 2.53.35.130) converting mpeg2 video to VCD. I have the registered version and have tried the conversion two ways. (The files I am using were ripped from a DVD using DVD decrypter. The resulting VOB file was demultiplexed using Wombel mpeg-vcr. )
Method 1. directly load the .mpv and mp2 files into TMPGEnc. The conversion begins and proceeds fine until 99% has converted at which point TMPGEnc abruptly closes completely and misses converting the last few seconds of video. What a bummer after waiting 9 hours!!!
Method 2. Frame serves the video using DVD2AVI. Exactly the same thing happens.
In the past I've used either method to convert without problem, but now I've run into this! Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!
