I'm having problems capturing in different resolutions with VirtualDub. It does accept 352x288 but when I'm trying to use few different higher resolutions to capture, it reports error message - resolution not supported.
    Any suggestions?

  2. This card supports only predefned resolution. But if you install btwin drivers you can capture it with any resolution.

You can see the predefined resolution in Winfast PVR. If your AVI resolution is one of the predefined resolutions you can create your own configuration to capture it in AVI

    Hope this helps

  4. we dont have to guess.
pcs usally crashes after invalid driver installation.
anyway, whatever drivers i used i never managed to capture higher than 386x288 with virtualdub.
on the contrary i capture 768x576 with the same drivers and iuVCR,and
    no single frame drop.

Also try this mod of VirtualVCR:
    http://avarakin.port5.com/Video/
It has problem with stereo fixed, and also:
    1. size of window can be changed (beware: this will increase cpu load!!!)
    2. mouse scroll button can be used for changing the channels
    3. more meaningful (IMO) application caption: it shows channel number while in preview mode and it shows capture file name plus channel number while in capture mode.

  6. I had the exact same problem as Bob with the exact same video card. THe crash was so bad I had to wipe my hard disk (yeah,w ell, I knew installing a new video card would crash my PC so I cloned by OS disk onto a spare hard disk -- no worries, I expected my OS drive would get croggled).
My solution was to give up on capturing through VirtualDub int othe LeadTek WinFast TV 2000 and instead capture through the LeadTek PVR utility that comes with the card. That works great. Hint: if you have the disk space, trying installing Ben Rudiak-Gold's HuffyUv. LeadTek's DV encoder blows big-time. You can see a lot of blotchy color smudging if you use LeadTek's DV encoder.
Or you could buy the MainConcept DV encoder. When I swtiched to the MainConcept encoder, the color blotchiness in my DV captures went away even thoguh the LeadTek 200 was exactly the same. Using either the FuffyUv or MainConcept DV encoder with the LeadTek is like upgrading the card to a Canopus, it makes a world of difference in the video capture quality.
