I (due to being on a tight budget) use a Flyvideo 3000 card (I know!) to capture VHS and convert to DVD. After much trial and error I have found a method of capturing fairly high quality video direct to MPEG2 using Intervideo MPEG Encoder 2.0
Every time the first 8 seconds is perfect then there is a click in the audio and everything else is out of sync. I can fix this using TMPGEnc Audio Gap correct but this is time consuming. Ideally I want to capture direct to MPEG2 and burn to DVD without having to re-encode everything to fix audio.
Is there any way I can do an "audio gap correct" at the buring stage using DVD Lab, TMPGEnc DVD Author or any other authoring package? My main goal here is speed rather than perfect quality but the audio gap is pretty annoying.
Thanks in advance for any tips,
McGoo

..............
Has anyone else used Fly2000 TV tuner to capture MPEG2 from WDM card?
Do you get audio shift after 8 seconds and if so, do you know of a fix for this?
