I have following known codes
* MJPEG-1 Codec
* MJPEG-2 Codec
* DivX MJPEC-4 Low-Motion
* DivX MJPEC-4 Fast Motion
* Huffyuv v2.1.1 – CCESP Patch v0.2.2
And I have these unknown codes
* Windows Media® Video Compression
* DV Video Encoder
* Indeo video 5.10 Compression Filter
* Ligos GoMotion Analog to MPEG Filter
* Ligos GoMotion DV to MPEG filter (ver 1.7)
* MJPEG Compressor
* Cinepak Codec by Radius
* Intel 4:2:0 Video V2.50
* Intel Indeo Video R3.2
* Indeo video 5.10
* Microsoft H.261 Video Codec
* Microsoft H.263 Video Codec
* Microsoft MPEG-4 VKI Codec V2
* Microsoft MPEG-4 VKI Codec V3
* Microsoft MPEG-4 VKI Codec V1
* Microsoft RLE
* Microsoft Video 1
* TechSmith Screen Capture Codec
* VFAPI Reader Codec 1.03
Where can I get some basic info about these unknown (to me) codes?
Is there any good codec which I can make use of? I tried the MJPEC, but I am not able to configure and I am not able to open the AVI with TMPGEnc.
Any help or pointers are much appreciated.

Dominic, a lot of those are just standrd Windows installed codecs. I recognize a lot of them. There used to be a site called www.fourcc.org but I don't know what happened to them. This page should get you started: http://www.am-soft.ru/fourcc.html
