    Hi there,

I must admit im getting a little pissed off with this software now, first of all it wouldnt update, got sorted for that, got the update, now whats happening is when i load up the video ts folder with the movie i want to convert to dvd it flashes through everything in other words nothing happens, the sequence of boxes its supposed to run through flash for a second on the screen and thats it, i have tried auto updating again it says no updates available at this time which makes sense as i have the latest update

Why Me! Its Only Me This Is Happening To

Any help or insight into this problem would be much appreciated

    thanks Plod

    Hi there,

Sorry for the misundertanding, i know the software only supports mpg or bin files.

I rip 2 vcds to mpg, place them in a folder called video ts, load the video ts file into svcd2dvdmpg and the program usually takes around 24 minutes for the full process and i end up with a dvd ready to burn through nero.

However that was the last time i used it, then i updated it, i needed help to do that aswell, but after updating the program i think it was the next morning i went to convert star trek nemesis to dvd. i select the video ts folder with the movie mpg in it it all loads up no problem, when i hit start the full process takes no more than 2-3 seconds and i am left with the start button to go again, i dont know how many processes are in it but i think its around 4-5 , as each process box flashes on the screen as i have said for 1-2 seconds, this is only since i updated the program.

Your help is much appreciated i know i must be a pain but this software is excellent and could not do without it
Anyway any insight to this problem would be helpful

    thanks

Ok can you cut & paste the results of a "mpeg info" on one of the mpegs?:

    Hi there,

Thanks for the quick reply, sorry in the delay in getting back to you i have just been trying a few things. The reason for it jumping through the process so quickly with star trek nemesis was negligence on my part sorry, as i usually always do check mpg info on the mpgs i have just ripped you reminded me to do that. Anyway the 2 mpg files were coming up as invalid mpgs so i didnt bother wasting my time ripping them again, i done another vcd 2 dvd without any problems. The second one i went to do which is the exact same process as described in earlier notes, the 2 ripped vcds mpgs in one video ts folder but this time it is only running through part of the process and only seeing the first mpg, i have named the video mpg 1 and 2 it does number one, goes straight to mptx.exe, then besweet.exe, then it only transcodes mpg file 1 and in svcd2dvdmpg log it says multiplexing elementry streams and goes no further i have done as you asked and copied and pasted the information on both mpgs files which are attached at the bottom i am so sorry about the hassle but can you tell me why it will do 1 conversion and half of another

Anyway thanks for your time and i eagerly wait your reply

    And file 2:

    H:\SHALLO~1\VIDEO_TS\video2.mpg
    Mpeg 1 System File [Video/Audio]
    Muxrate : 1.41 Mbps
    Estimated Duration: 57:41.11s
    Size [352 x 288] 25.00 fps 1.12 Mbps
    Audio : Mpeg 1 layer 2
    224 kbps 44100 Hz
    Stereo, No emphasis
Press any key to continue . . .

I cant see any difference in them apart from the running time but yet it misses out a good part of the process anyway once again thanks for your time
