Thread: VOB Editing.

  1. I've got some VOB files that I'd like to cut down to a scene or two from an original VOB.

    I'm wondering whats the easiest way of editing (cutting down) a VOB file and resaving it as a vob file? I have several VOB files I'd like to cut down and combine to one DVD. Unfortunately they are parts of one larger VOB that has other scenes I don't want.

    Anyone know how to do this and what the best software is? I'd really appreciate the help!

    use smartripper

    in the settings tab

    click everychapter

    then deselect the chapters you don't want

    You can cut vobs as you please according to the article below:

    This method is very simple and effective. However, I won,t recommend you to demux resulting vobs when authoring to a new dvd (read the following threads for more detail). Use an authoring program which allow you to import vobs.
