  3. Sorry. In the panic, I didn't give any info.
I first noticed the problem with VCDEasy. When I open the program, I get a blue screen saying there is an error. After pressing a key, the blue screen goes away and there is a window up in VCDEasy saying "No cd writer/reader or ASPI drivers problem". I was about to start burning some vcds of some concerts I've recently gotten. Earlier this week, I successfully burned a music cd in Roxio. I got another burning program called NTI CD Maker. I tried opening it and I also get a message saying "No Supported Drive Detected". The drive still works, as far as reading data.
    Is this enough to help?

  5. Unless I'm missing something try updating your ASPI files (try a google search). If you installed your CD writer yourself, you might've not connected the cables fully and they have become loose (this has happened to me).

    Hope this helps.

  6. ok. figured out my problem, but don't know how to fix it. I downloaded and installed DAEMON TOOLS so I could open up a bin file. I have Roxio installed on the computer. Apparently, the driver associated with Roxio don't mesh well with the Daemon Tools program. So I've uninstalled Daemon Tools and I'm getting the same error messages. What do I need to do now? Uninstall Roxio and re-install?
