Okay, I know there are a lot of people having trouble with OGM/Xvid files, and I found what I could, but I can't seem to solve this trouble I'm having.
I have an OGM file that previously played just fine. However, along the way, I added some codec or software that started screwing my subtitled movies up, so I decided to clean house and reinstall most codecs. This took care of my subtitles (I was getting TWO sets of subs), but now one of the OGM files that was previously crystal clear has some serious artifact problems. Basically anything in motion sets it off. It's entirely unwatchable.
I'm not sure what I had before that made it play fine. I've reinstalled the different Xvid versions so many times and have seen no results. I've messed with the settings in ffdshow and nothing.
Also, very strangely, gspot keeps telling me that I don't have the video codec installed. Like I said, I've reinstalled it a bunch of times, so I don't know what the problem is.
Any help, please?
