  1. I'm trying to convert the movie 'Ken Park' from xvid AVI to PAL VCD. The AVI is already 25f/s. I've used Virtualdub MP3 Freeze to cut the AVI file into 2 files, and then save the audio for each file into a wav file. Then I'm using Tmpgenc to convert each AVI to PAL VCD, using the wav files as the audio source. The resulting VCD mpg for each file has the audio about 2 seconds ahead of the video initially, and by the end the audio is about 8 or 10 seconds ahead.

I've searched the forum, and tried most things that people have suggested. I've also experimented with the custom settings in Tmpgenc, but no success.

With the number of people downloading that movie at the moment, I was hoping somebody might have successfully done exactly what I am trying to do.

    Can anybody help?

    Thanks.

  2. Hmmmm.....are you framesrving it correctly? If you're frameserving and encoding correctly, go get GoldWave and use it's timewarp feature.
My AVI -> Any Format Guide is available here.
My Frame Resize Calculator (enhanced for Virtualdub) is available here
