  1. Ok, I've got some films on svcd/vcd. Up to 3 disks per film (some still as bin), i want to put onto to one dvd-r

The problem is I'm getting pissed off at converting each disk/file.

Can i just join them at one and convert

If so how and what with please.

  2. If they have the same specifications. Extract the mpg with isobuster, join in tmpgenc and then convert.

I had that sync problem w/ a lot of vcd, svcd, cvd. I stopped joining the files so I get for example two tracks on one cd. This might cause a short pause between the tracks, but saves a lot of work and I dont even notice it coz my DVD player dosent wait between the tracks. I think this apply to DVD making also. So maybe you should just use the batch mode if your using TMPGEnc to do your converting.

  6. mpeg-2 is notoriously difficult to join without messing up audio sync.
