  1. Hi there to all of you .

This is my first post and hope I did not put it right away in the wrong section .

Yes I did search the forum the last couple of days for an answer to my problem but to no avail .

    Step by step .

1 - I do have a DivX file ( the timemachine ) in english plus a seperate german mp3 language file

I did convert the DivX file with TMPEGenc so that I have a m2v file and a mp2 file - everything fine so far , I furthermore converted than the new-mp2 and the existing mp3 file with besweet to AC3 - great now I got 3 files : m2v (soundless video),ac3 english,ac3 german - I guess so far is everything alright .

I pulled this guide: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/169251.php - and did what it says .

2 - I used IfoEdit 0.95 ( even though it says 0.94 ) as explained in the guide above and ended up with the following files :

    VTS_01_1 (1.048.574 kb) ,
    VTS_01_2 (1.048.574 kb) ,
    VTS_01_3 (1.048.574 kb) ,
    VTS_01_4 (1.048.574 kb) ,
    VTS_01_5 (68.182 kb) ,
    VIDEO_TS.BUP (8kb) ,
    VIDEO_TS.IFO (8kb) ,
    VTS_01_0.BUP (60kb) ,
    VTS_01_0.IFO (60kb)

seems to be a lot of files .

3 - I started DVDlab as in the guide mentioned but what am I supposed to do with this amount of files ????????
If I try to join them than it will only join the first vob and it increases its size by two , if I use it with demultiplexing than I get the joined video file plus two dolby files but only one can be implemented ????

If I chainlink them ( got now 5 films ) within DVDlab than only the first will be done completly and the second one stops after a few bytes and I get some non elementary file error - beside that the first now created file actually has two switchable languages ( cool ) is the film within PowerDVD not very smooth .

So I hope this explained it quite good enough - some help would be very much apreciated .

    Thanks in advance

Oh by the way - If someone knows a different aproach to this problem or at least a partial solution than thats fine as well

  3. I think you have 2 options:

When you import VTS_01_1.VOB, one of your options will be to join VTS_01_*.vob. You can either do that, or separately import each VOB file into a Movie and link them, one to the next, in the connections view.

    Hope this helps.
