I am currently trying to make a DVD Demo disk by ripping various scenes from various movies with full video & audio (DTS or DD 5.1 or 6.1) encoding and then placing each scene one after the other to form one continuous demo disk. I have sucessfully ripped the movie scenes by stripping out the forgien languages/subtitles using DVD Shrink and creating the approperiate VOB files, but here's where the trouble starts with DVD-Lab:
1. When I tried to place the VOB file in the "Assest" section I got an error stating that the audio (DTS 6.1) had a frequency of 44.1Hz? but was only allowed 40Hz? and couldn't go any further - help!
2. DVD-lab accepted DD 5.1 audio and when this and the video signal were dragged to the "movie 1" section, I got the video signal in the preview but no audio - why is this; have I done something silly here!!!
3. The various scenes (all at 16:9 ratio) may either contain DTS or DD 5.1 or 6.1 encoding - can DVD-lab handle changes in the audio encoding from one scene to the next???
4. I have tried to create a scene selection button in the root menu by creating a chapter at the beginning of "movie 1", "movie 2", "movie 3", etc, so that it will enable me to jump to the correct scene, but it appears that the scene selection only works with one movie with multiple chapters. Is there any way I can use a single scene selection button to link the various movies?
There are many other issues which needs sorting out, but I think there's enough here to tire anyone out!!
Many thanks in advance to the clever boffin who can sort the above out!!!!
