I'm looking for good quality inkjet printable DVD-R that will last.
I went to esbuy.com site and they have something called PIO-DATA
inkjet printable--made by pioneer for pioneer--
Anyone heard of these, anyone ever used the pioneer printable ones from rima.com?
If anyone else has recommendations about good quality printable dvd-r, let me know please, price really doesn't matter.
Thanks
Mike

If your looking for good quality printable dvd-r try this place
http://www.meritline.com/dvdrblankmedia.html
I'm pretty new to this but what I've gathered from this site so far is that apple, maxell, and verbatim dvd-r's seem to be good quality disks, but some people have been having problems with some verbatim unbranded disks lately. Ritek g04 disks seem to be a good media but I don't know if they are avialable in ink jet printable dvd-r's.
Never heard of or tried the PIO-DATA you mentioned.
I've used verbatim, maxell and memorex without any problems, worked on everything I've put them in so far."If you promise not to tell, I'll take you some place much more fun then the mooooveeeees!" -
we have used maybe 10,000 of the G03 ritek printable ... they work great -- got them at meritline and other on-line retailers ..

As frequent readers will know, one of my pet hates is the American's eye view that the Internet is limited only to them, so as usual I am going to assume Mike is in England since he does not say otherwise and throw SVP Communications into the mix at www.blankdiscshop.co.uk
Loads of inkjet printables there, including those oh so tasty Ritek's.
Remember - the Internet and the DVD format is used worldwide !! -
neither me or the other poster are from the USA accually , but since mike said he was looking at rima.com , i kinda assumed mike might be from the general area of n america .

I'm too busy prowling the forums and, on rare occasions, working, to look at all the sites that are mentioned... the dot coms cover such a geographical range you can't tell without checking them out (and with so many new media suppliers appearing on the market, new names arrive on the scene all the time). No probs with the dot co dot uks, they kind of give the game away.
Good to see the moderators come from all walks of life - I very nearly mentioned them not being a bunch of inbreds but figured that was a bit rude and tasteless !
Charm, tact, diplomacy. These words usually mean nothing to me. Ah, the beer's run out. That explains it.
Mine's a pint ! -
Yeah, I actually am from America. I ended up ordering some maxell printables from CDW. Little pricey, but that doesn't bother me all that much. I hope somebody doesn't come back and tell me I made a big mistake ordering from there since I never hear anyone ordering from CDW.
