    hi all, the problem i have is this-i use a decompres program then i use virtual dub then video calc ok so far then i start up TMPGEnc and unless the file is mpeg all i get is an error and it closes down.So dose it only work for mpegs or is there a way i can get it to work for divx etc, please some help it is driving me crazy thank you

    you are missing some avi codecs. open your movie in gspot and it will tell you what you need. gspot is in the tools section to your left

    hi there again sorry to be a pest but tried gspot on all the vid files that cause TMPGEnc to stop working and it says i have all the proper codec to work so still no further

    hi again, i have loaded the program and was wondering if anyone knows how to use it i am trying to convert to mpeg so i can watch on my dvd ( if i am starting to bug just tell me just i am new to this)
