Ok, I am running Windows XP (Pro) and I am having some problems with my video files.
Basically while I was on holiday I was connected to a High Speed internet, so i downloaded loads of videos.... but they work fine on my laptop, currently running Windows ME.
When I transfered these files over they were cut down, one was 16minutes long and when I loaded it on my machine it was 1 minute, but if I clicked on the search bar it'll go to the proper position of the movie but still last 1 minute.
It has happened before because I downloaded a video (mpeg) and one day it was ok and done the same thing.
Can anyone help?

so, if you just let the .mpg file play, it'll stop at the one min. mark???
i've had some .mpgs where media player reported the wrong length....so even though media player's seek bar will only show 2 min..but it'll actually play through the entire video...with the seek bar being at the very end..
