  1. After create the MP2 file using toolame and MPV file using Cinema Craft Encoder, I went to I-Author to multiplexer the boath files and creat the MPS file, that will be used to create the svcd image file (movie.cif) The problem is that I don`t know where is the moment when I need to split the file and the tool to be used. Could some body help me? I have? Movie MPV, Movie MP2, Movie MPS and Movie.cif
    Thanks!

As far as I know, I-Author does not have a split option like bbMPEG. You should encode in two parts.
But this is probably not the expected answer.
So I suggest to multiplex / split with bbMPEG to 2 parts. After that demultiplex each part. Rename *.m2v to *.mpv and multiplex again with I-Author.

You definitely need to use bbmpeg to split your movie. Do it by size. if you burning on a 74 min cdr you need to cut at 730MB's, if your using 80 min cdrs cut at 790MB's. If you have any menu's your going to add then factor in a few more MB's less. Read the bbmpeg cutting guide on this site if you need help.

You do not need to demux and remux with I-Author. I-Author's multiplexor is very buggy and should not be used...ever! Instead get mpgxmps and convert your bbmpeg created mpg's to .mps files. Re-author each disk separately in I-Author.

The preferred burning method is to get the latest beta version of CDMage and to convert the .cif file to bin and cue and burn with fireburner, cdrwin, or nero. Anything to avoid burning with EZ Cd creator is a preferred method.

I think the only reason to use I-Author's multiplexor is, that you can add up to 4 subtitles, that you can switch on/off during playback. If there is another tool, that can do this, please tell me.

Ahh I totally forgot about that. Yeah I think I-Author is the only program that can do that.
