  1. When I have encoded a file it always gets to 4:3 format when viewing in mediaplayer. But when I get it to full screen it turns to 16:9. I encode with aspect ratio: 16:9 625 line PAL. Source aspect ratio: 16:9 display. Why does it show 4:3 on my tv?? I don't get it, please help me

you have made a anamorphic vcd but dvd player dont support that so you have to encode it to 4:3 with black borders. but if you have ws tv or a tv with a 16:9 switch you can use it.

If you use TMPG, set aspect ratio to 4:3 625 line(PAL) instead of 16:9 625 line(PAL).
Source aspect ratio depends on the source.
