Hi, for the first time I've just been able to convert a .vob file to vcd format and burn it onto a cd.
I used OSEx to rip the .vob file. To convert the .vob to the right format I used the "VCD (PAL)" preset in ffmpegX (I had to use ffmpeg instead of mpeg2enc because of some problems) and then used Missing Media Burner to burn the .cue/.bin files onto CD's.
The VCD plays fine on my DVD player except for a problem with the audio sync. The weird thing is that the problem seems to variate, it's at it's worst at the beginning of the movie, then gets better to a point I'd be happy with but towards the end of the disk the problem becomes more pronounced again. At it's worst the video is about 2 sec infront of the audio.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?
