I'm looking to add Name Overlays onto a sports video I'm working on.
It's a baseball video and want the players name, stats, etc. slide into the bottom of each player when they are up to bat.
What is that overlay called? Also where can I find any to use.

Well, depending on who is watching, the layman calls them name and numbers like you do. Videographers like you also calls them subtitles. Anyway, If you can use Virtual Dub MPEG-2 mod and Sub Station Alpha to put them on your video.
