Is there any other program like vcdEasy because i used this guide on this web about making Menu's using still images. i followed the instructions correctly but when i burned it and played on my dvd player it didnt show any the menu i created. i even pressed The Menu buton on my remote but nothing happnd. but the svcd works with menu's in my PowereDVD program on my pc.

SO why not my dvd player.

if it works on your PC, perhaps your player doesn't like SVCD and/or menus

best bet is to try your SVCD on a friend's dvd player and see if menus show up there.

poopyheads response is the first thing you should do. check to see if your dvd player actually plays SVCD and then try it on someone elses dvd player.

as far as an another program, www.dvd2svcd.org has an app that I think is great. Use it to convert everything from dvd's to avi's.

My DVD player plays SVCD fine but as soon as you try to add menus and chapters it goes wildly out of synch. I just burn them without now and they play fine.
