Basically I just finished ripping and encodeing and i want to make it known that i did it. So i want to add my nick to the video, so it can appear as a subtitle but on top. Example: you play the video and on top you see: Ripped and Encoded by Aberfoyle. So basically the text or subtitle is part of the video for 5seconds in the begining. Can someone tell me how i would do that. Thanx

Use Vdub filter, but if your going to share it, then "Dont do it", it takes ages to get them off again
Use an intro instead

What if you encode short intro video and patch this on to the begining of the your video file instead? Or you can use the logo filter for VirtualDub, this will make a transparent logo like you see on some tv channels:

Can you explain what that means and how i do it. I have virtial dub, but i don't know what VDub filter is.

Hi yes there is a filter available to add your own logo's, I could shoot "NB"
You need to download the filter and place it ready for use in tthe Vdub folder, there are already some filters with Vdub, click Video > Filter > Add
Why am I telling you this ?, I might not have that movie
check vdub site for links to filters.
