the video doesn't encode.

and why does it read stream #0.0 as 16.20 fps when it is and plays at 29.97?

audio comes out as .mp2 instead of ac3.

I'm new to this be. want to buy but make it work, please.

Add a .mov extension to your input file before encoding the video. Use A-Pack to create the AC3 stream.
