  1. NERO
I use nere to burn my dvd-r movies. I use the wizard because i do not know the exact settings. I have tried selecting File-->New-->DVD setting on top left, DVD-Video in left window ect.
I drag the files to the Video_TS folder and burn, but no success when on a stand alone player. If no one can help ill stick to using the wizard.

    MULTI MOVIE DVD
I use DVD Shrink 2.3 to rip the movie onto the hard drive. I usually use compression to make the final files about 2GB, this varies depending on how many movies i want on one dvd-r.
I use Vobedit 0.6 to demux ifo files that i have riped from a dvd. It creates m2v and ac3 files.
I import them into the MPEG tools of TMPGEnc-2.58.44.152-Plus which creates an mpg file.
I then import that mpg file and any others i have created into Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2, it comes up with an error saying it can not accept soud of this type. This is not a problem because i am not changing any of the sound.
I create a menu and everything, but is there a way i can import the settings for chapters?? When i burn the dvd the sound and picture is great but i loose the chapters somewhere along the way. Can anyone shine any light on this situation.

I do not want to put the chapters in manually, but if i have to is there a way i can create a list of times where the chapter breaks occur.

    Thanks

  3. I'll give you some hints.

    - When you demux the vob's (not the ifos by the way), you loose the chapter info. It is in the IFOs and you are throwing that away.

    - There is a program called chapterXtractor (check the tools). It can pull the times out of an IFO.

    - I've never used the Ulead product, but in something like DVDlab (free 30 day trial), you can import a list of chapters.

On another note, there is a guide called "How to create a multi-title multi-audio DVD" that implys DVDFab can be used to put multiple titles on a single disc.

    Happy searching ....
