Hi everyone...
Its been a while since I last used ffmpegX. Yesterday I downloaded the new version, and started encoding a VOB File to SVCD(PAL) before I went to bed. This morning I looked ffmpegX was still encoding.... The resulting file got to about 370MB. When I looked in the Terminal window I saw an average encoding rate of 1fps!!!! with older versions I got about 5-8fps. How can this be? I tried an old version (4g I think) on my backup system and it was encoding the same VOB with 7fps average. I really donīt understand why... At this rate it would take about 48h to encode a 2h Movie. With older versions it took about 8h on my 733Mhz G4. Whatīs wrong? Please help me!
thnax a lot
