nero re-encodes my avi file resulting in upside down video when i play it on my stand alone player. any idea's why?

Do not encode the file with nero, use tmpgenc (can be found in the tools menu) and then burn with nero.

this is due to a codec problem m8 u need to check with avicodec what you have installed and what you need
