I'm trying to capture from my DVD player using an ADVC-100. It seems that every few secounds there is a change in the signal, and the video is all strange, and then after a few secounds it switches back.
So I decided to feed it into my VCR, and then tried it with the same thing going on. But when I watch it with the same setup on my TV it looks just fine. So what is with that??

Its possible that its the Macrovision. You might be able to get a hack for your DVD player on the left side of this site.

If MV is the problem just hold down the input select button on the ADVC for about 20-30 seconds, MV is then disabled until you shut off the ADVC.
