  1. hi,,

i started to use restream to change the fps of a
svcd.but it causes blockyness.mainly if theres
left or right movement in the picture.its fast
if you want to change fps or the resolution.
i also change the resolution from 480x480
    to 352x480.

    you can find it here.

  2. Hi Nednedned,
I used a program from Dynapel called motion perfect for converting avi's from 23 to 29.97, but it only works on avi's. It even fixes dropped frames. But I did not ask what type of video you were trying to convert (avi,mpeg,mjpeg..) Sorry

  3. it an svcd.mpg, seems mainly to happen on the right hand side
of the screen.like the screen is being pulled. when the camera
moves to the left.its a pitty as the program solves problems
for me.i demultiplex with tmpge.but it wont let use the .m2v
file.to change the framrate.as i want to put it on dvd.and dvdlab
    wont allow 23fps.

Why use re-stream?? just use pulldown.exe. you'll like the results and it's fast + you can change other flags in an mpeg2 stream as well

  5. as lpn1160 sez....add the 3:2 pulldown flag to your .mpg so that it will be played back as 29.97 fps...even though it was encoded as 23.976 fps...

this is much easier...no converting/re-encoding necessary
