  1. Why is it when I convert my video_ts file to an img file does it double(nearly) in size, and is there any way of stopping this? Its now too large to fit on a dvd-r

  2. Hmm, what's the size of your VIDEO_TS folder and the size of the image file. How are you making the image file (program/settings). When you try to burn the image file does the size of the source VIDEO_TS folder or the size of the ISO file show up (eg. in DVD Decrypter).

    I normally author with DVD Maestro, make the image with IMGTools, then burn with DVD Decrypter. No real problems.

  3. The Img file is 7.42gig and the VIDEO_TS folder is 4.07 I am just authoring it with IFOEDIT and converting it with IMGTOOL classic as in the guide at

    are there any hidden files in the VIDEO_TS folder that you cannot see that could actually mean that the VIDEO_TS folder is in fact bigger than the 4.07 gig that you can see... although you cant see hidden files they will still be included when you make an image of the VIDEO_TS folder

  6. No, the file was bigger than it is now until I shrunk it with dvdshrink, For some reason it wont burn with Nero, Instant dvd, or Ulead, I was hoping that by converting it to img it might burn with dvd decrypter or alcohol 120% as the image views fine on my pc.
