when you get to the end dialogue in tmpgenc, it says something like "start encoding now or create another project." just choose the "create another project" until you've added all the files you want to encode. then, when you've added all the file you want to encode, choose "start encoding immediately" option and the batch encoding will begin.

if you're getting an error for an unreadable file, it's probably not a batch encode problem, rather it's TMPG can't work with the file you are trying to input into it.

if you can "start encoding immediately", but it won't let you batch encode that file, THEN there's something wrong with your batch encode.

are you loading mpeg's for batch encode, or are you loading avi files? if you are loading mpegs, why are you reencoding them?
