I would like to know if I can copy a copy ie. a movie that has already been decrypted and compressed .
disk to disk with record now max just would like to save time having to move files to hard drive first
can anyone let me know if this will work or am i best off tansfering to hd first

I just copied a 3 gig dvdr doing just that and it worked fine. It was a data dvd though so i don't know if that makes a difference - i always use dvd decrypter to copy dvdr movies though - iso read > iso write

Yes you can do a straight 121 copy if its already been decrypted and compressed.

Assuming the rest of your system is up to the task of moving however many megabytes that is per second, then yes it's no problem.
