  1. Hi all,

I ahve lots of cartoons that are in DIVX format and i want to put them onto VCD.

I am trying 1 program at present,
    1. TMPGEnc

    1. With TMPGEnc i found that the re-encoding to MPEG 1 was easy but I cant figure out how to do a batch - i know that i can fit approx 5 episodes onto a standard 700mb cd but cant work out how to use the batch option. Basically i want to select 5 episodes and leave my pc to it rather than keep monitoring it.

I have also heard TMPGEnc can provide moving menus i.e. options to chose which episode you want to view with thumbnails etc - any odeas how to do this?

The only other thing i have used is nero - it re-encodes it and burns for me but the menu facility is very limited. I can only put numbers 1 through to 5 with the episode names on when i really want pictures next to the episode names - for some reason this does not work.
    Thanks
P.s. i have read the guides but am at a loss.

  2. Ok, the batch processing works like this:

Load up your file, do all your settings as normal, then go to File -> Add current project to batch list.

Do this for all 5 shows. Then, you'll need to make a short clip from every video for your motion menus. You can use a tool called MPEG2Cut to accurately cut about 15 seconds of video for each motion menu button.

Then, go use an authoring tool like DVD-Lab, and voila!
