These days we can get movies in various file formats from a wide variety of places....P2P....mIRC.....etc..etc..
So many times we find glitches in these files....pixalating....strange colour defects...unstable audio....etc.
I would like to know .....Is there a program out there that can test a file & fully scan it without having to sit there and scroll thru the entire movie to find problems before encoding. In other words....once a movie has been downloaded, can it be fed into a program that will scan it for faults ?
I'd rather watch the movie later thru my DVD in the comfort of my lounge room and not in front of my PC....
I hope someone knows where I am coming from......>???
Thanks...Love to hear from you....
Cheers
MLOR....

Yes...download this version of Virtualdub (scroll down to the MP3 Freeze Version).
http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/virtualdub.html
Load up movie, then click video then scan etc.
This will scan for bad frames then inform you at the end of the scan where the bad frame numbers are."Today is only yesterdays tomorrow" -
