Hello.
I bought card WinFast TV2000 XP Deluxe for the catching from the non-digital video camera.
I try to catch video into the MPEG2 format with 640x480 resolution, but image freeze every 1-1.5 second during recording and playback as well.
Parameters of my computer are: 1.2 GHz, 512 Mb. On the hard disk there is 5 GB free space after defragmentation and MDA is switched on.
I can catch video into MPEG2 Normal Quality or Good Quality, but High Quality I can't.
What i should do else?

This card does not have hardware MPEG2 encoding so you need to rely on software encoding. Basically, your PC isn't up to the task to produce skip free, full frame MPEG2 video.
You should be able to use DivX or XviD to capture full frame. I have a 1.3G Athlon running one of these cards and XvidD works a treat. If you want to transfer to DVD, use a relativly high bitrate (like 2500 or more) to capture...the more the better."Weekends don't count unless you spend them doing something completely pointless."

Mine is Atlon 1.2Ghz with 1GB Memory and my HDD is 160GB. I am able to capture at any MPEG2 resolution with the same card.
I suspect some other problem with your system.
