After a couple times converting my DIVX movie files to Mpeg2 i still
have some problems. After converting a 23.97 fps movie file to NTSC Mpeg2 format the video becomes jumpy, especially in moving sequences I applied the 3:2 pulldown option in TMPgenc so that my standalone has to play it the right way, but it doesn't, also my software player show the same problems.
I am looking for a way to solve this problem because it's driving me crazy. I have no problems with converting 25 fps PAL movies or 29.97 fps NTSC movies. Maybe someone can help me to fix this problem beacuse most of the Divx files are 23.97 fps.
Thanks a bunch !

You must tell us the tools and setting you are using. I know you're doig something wrong, because I've done this loads of times before and not one time did I get your results. Please, from now on, people when asking for help post all info right away........

Are you using tmpeg? if so are you using the ntsc wizard? if so don't use the wizard - cancel that and select the video and audio in the main window - load the ntsc template - load unlock.mcf and change the framerate to 23.97 fps, that usually sorts the odd jerk for me. If you aren't using tmpeg maybe, as said, you should give a bit more info about software used
