    does anyone remember how to disable the networking messenger in xp so i dont get the small grey pop-ups !? i just reformatted and i forgot how.

    you mean the balloon tips? If you mean that...I can tell you how to disable them in the registry.

    I thought they meant "balloon tips"...those were even more annoying then the Windows Messenger...I had to disable them instantly.
