  1. I converted a divx movie to vcd.. but no sound is present in the final file even though system video + audio is selected.. so now I'm assuming I would have to convert the audio from the original divx seperately.. is that acceptable even though the movie was converted with audio + video, or will it only work when the movie is converted in system - video only? does that make sense? Also, is it normal for TMPENC to do this? I swear it did video and audio perfectly last week.. now nothing for audio? strange..

i have an amd thunderbird 1ghz, sound blaster live value, 384 mb ram...

    Thanks!

  2. How about this, first, open TMPGenc, file\mpeg tools. Select De-mux, open your MPG file, extract the video to a seperate file. Now, open the DivX movie (if possible, not sure) demux the audio to a file, normalize the audio and then convert it. Then mux them together =) That should work.
