I have a Panasonic RV32, fairly new DVD player. I plays okay when I use the RCA audio and video TV inputs. The problem is that when I use the S-Video TV inputs I have to turn down the color and the picture gets very dark. The contrast knob on the TV (an older SONY 27 inch) only adjusts so far and it is still pretty dark. Anything I can do to fix this?

  2. i use S-video on my LG 5620,and its pretty much near RGB quality..
ive tried components on my dads tv and there pretty much ****.
i still say that RGB scart is the best,S-video next, then components..
it might be the tv..have you tried the brightness, instead of contrast.

One of your devices has a bad S-Video lineup. Stick to your composite (RE:RCA cables) connection.
