OK i am ready to purchase either the
Dazzle DVC 150
or the Pinnacle Studio Deluxe
I have both USB2 and firewire cards in the computer but my question is which will give me better quality from a VHS player ?
The reviews say that both of the products are great and I don't intend on using the software that came with either of the products.
I am leaning more towards the dazzle 'cause i can take and use it with my notebook if i ever wanted to
but do I lose quality by using the USb2.0 card vs the PCI bundled with Pinnacle ???

Pinnacle Studio Deluxe or Pinnacle PCTV Deluxe ?

too2buff,
I will never recommend Dazzle products. I burned my fingers (and cash) on a Dazzle. Again I am not sure about these USB capture devices. FirwWire is the way to go.

Some months back, I tried out a bunch of capture cards, mostly external. I was not pleased at all. None of them compared to my ATI, so I just bit the bullet and bought a second one a few weeks ago (for the second computer).
Does this HAVE to be external? If not, I'd suggest an ATI card.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
