  1. I've tried numerous times to export my 30 min movie from Premiere 6.0 to an avi file. every time I've tried, I've only got 2/3 of the movie exported. I've tried exporting the whole movie but I only get like 19 out of the 30 min that the video is. if someone could tell me what I am doing wrong or why its not exporting the whole video I'd appriciate it.

    Hi,

I've checked your computerdetails and saw that you use win98SE...
Win98SE has FAT32 filesystem, which is only capable of creating files up to 4GB!!! (This is about 18-19 minutes AVI movie).
I suggest to install Windows OS (NT/2000/XP) that supports NTFS filesystem or frameserve from Premiere to TMPGEnc to encode to MPEG2.

  4. I had the exact same problem as you (albeit running win XP)

search on the adobe official site in their forums: "freezes when exporting" or something along those lines

there are two lines you add into an .ini file?? that I had to put in , and since then it has been running fine

    good luck!
