[TPMG] Question regarding vcd playback

Ok, i finally got the sound and video to sync up and played on my computer fine, but when i ripped it to a cd and put it in my apex 1201 player, it seems to freeze on some frames or pause, is there a wrong setting I'm using?

stream type: mpeg-1
size 352 by 240
4:3 525 line (NTSC)

frame rate: 23.976 fps
rate control mode: constant bite rate(cbr)
bitrate 1150
vbv buffer size 40

any help would be appreciated.

Maybe it's your media or burn speed. Try a slower burn speed like 8X or try a different brand of disk. 8)

i just tested the same disc on my old apex AD 600a and it played perfectly, and i was playing the disc on a apex 1201, i'm returning it tommorow to get a mintek dvd-1600, i just hope best buy still sells it in the stores thanks for the the advice though.
